Seniority: JuniorWe're hiring a Payroll Accountant with Russian language skills for the Prague-based accounting shared service center of a major international energy group. Join our international team responsible for payroll processing and reporting across European operations. We seek candidates with at least 2 years of payroll accounting experience and strong knowledge of HR and labor legislation.JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Calculating and accruing wages and salaries in accordance with local regulations
  • Calculating and accruing allowances and other benefits in accordance with local regulations
  • Reviewing cost sheets and supporting documents
  • Reviewing time sheets
  • Generating payrolls and registers for bank payments
  • Accounting and reporting of payroll costs
  • Reporting to HR and supporting budget performance assessment
  • Participation in local audits
  • Participating in and/or coordinating projects related to company services and processes
  • Handling ad hoc questions, tasks, and projects within functional responsibility or as requested by the manager
  • Performing other tasks as per management assignment
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll accounting
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, HR management, and related labor legislation
  • Accounting education or proven knowledge in the field
  • People orientation, relationship-building skills, and stress resistance
  • Proficiency in SAP HR, SAP R3, and MS Excel
  • Good understanding of online banking systems
  • Awareness of the local client and economic environment, together with market trends
  • English and Russian language skills at upper-intermediate level or higher
  • Hands-on approach and proactive mindset
  • Strong communication skills and cross-cultural thinking
  • Reliability, teamwork, and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work within budget
  • Capacity to resolve complex financial issues, including seeking external input when appropriate
  • Decision-making ability within defined authority limits
  • Strong planning and time management skills
