- Participating in a Scaled Agile development environment, including design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and performance tuning of production systems
- Contributing to architectural discussions and technical direction within the team
- Participating in troubleshooting, task identification, effort estimation, and planning of development and maintenance work
- Ensuring and demonstrating high code quality through comprehensive and effective unit test coverage
- Providing technical guidance through mentoring and day-to-day collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent (master's degree preferred). Equivalent practical experience will also be considered
- Strong understanding of software development in several of the following areas (roughly in priority order):
- 3-6 years of professional software development experience
- Experience with Docker and deployment of systems in cloud environments
- Experience building or operating SaaS products on AWS or a comparable cloud platform
- Good understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and related tooling
- Familiarity with Angular; UX knowledge and experience are a plus but not required
- Solid grounding in computer science fundamentals, design patterns, and software engineering best practices
- Understanding of Agile methodology and principles is an advantage
