Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri)Environmental Conditions OfficeJob DescriptionWithin the Sustaining Products (SPR) Manufacturing Engineering team, you will support the production of high-precision electron microscopes, working on complex electromechanical modules that directly impact system performance and reliability.In this role, you will combine hands-on engineering with problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) meet the highest quality and performance standards.What You’ll DoWorking with mechatronic modules and their integration into SEM systems, you will:Production & Problem SolvingSupport production by analyzing and resolving technical issues * Provide engineering input for non-conforming materials
Act as a key technical interface for manufacturing teams
Product & Process ImprovementDrive continuous improvement and redesign activities * Optimize manufacturing processes and product performance
Define and maintain manufacturing specifications and documentation
Testing & ValidationPerform prototype testing and functional validation * Design and implement test equipment and fixtures (internal & suppliers)Collaboration & ExpertiseWork cross-functionally with R&D, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, and Service * Support shopfloor teams through training and knowledge sharing
Act as a subject matter expert within your domain
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar (with overlap into electronics)
Experience with 3D CAD tools
Strong technical problem-solving skills with a hands-on mindset
Ability to work in a complex, global organization
Independent and proactive approach
English proficiency (written & spoken)
Willingness to travel (~10%)
