Provide automakers with cutting-edge equipment and solutions to develop tomorrow's clean and connected car.The role of Optics Engineer is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Nový Jičín, Czech Republic.Responsibilities:

Responsibility for the design of optical functions of lighting products using CAD programs
Responsibility for the photometric quality of the given product
Cooperation in evaluating and maintaining the optical quality of products
Solving operational tasks related to customer requirements
Participating in the preparation of calculations for new products, presenting products at the customer's premises

Requirements:

University degree in a technical field (physical disciplines, optics, optoelectronics)
Awareness of optics issues, knowledge of the physical properties and laws of light
Knowledge of 3D modeling is an advantage (Catia, Pro Engineer, Inventor, etc.), knowledge of LightTools is an advantage
Experience with automotive front lighting systems and legal regulations like ECE R149, FMVSS108 will be an added value
English language at intermediate level
Driving license B, willingness to travel
