- Build and deliver a robust annual procurement budget for direct materials
- Maintain a rolling five-year spend history (2018-present) for trend analysis
- Quarterly Latest Estimate (LE): lead data collection, variance analysis, and risk/opportunity commentary
- Monthly Year-to-Go (YTG): reconcile updated forecast vs. budget, highlight gaps
- Monthly Year-to-Date (YTD): prepare figures and insights for the Procurement section of the Monthly Business Review (MBR)
- Deep-dive the spend base to identify cost drivers, risks, and savings opportunities
- Issue early-warning flags when commitments deviate from plan
- Own the Procurement KPI slide deck – refresh charts every time numbers change
- Produce clear, concise PowerPoint packs for C-suite and Board reviews
- Work closely with Product Supply, Finance, Controlling, and Category Managers to reconcile figures and validate assumptions
- Ensure data integrity between SAP, BI dashboards, and finance systems
- Maintain accurate spend files in Excel / Power BI; champion automation where possible
- Guard master data quality (vendors, GLs, cost centers) impacting budget accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 5+ years in procurement finance, cost-controlling, or spend analytics
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, look-ups, Power Query) and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with ERP data (SAP, S/4HANA) and BI dashboards (Power BI preferred)
- Proven record of budget ownership, variance analysis, and risk flagging
- Strong communicator able to translate numbers into crisp executive messages
- Fluent English; Romanian an advantage
