Every day.We are now looking for an Accounting Specialist, Record to Report to join our team in Ostrava, Czechia.You will contribute to high-quality, standardized accounting execution, working within defined processes and controls, while gaining exposure to end-to-end finance operations in a global environment.This position is ideal for professionals with approximately 2-5 years of relevant experience who are ready to take on responsibility in accounting, systems, and finance processes.Key responsibilitiesPerform assigned accounting and reporting activities, including general accounting, journal entries, entity closing, fixed and leased asset accounting, intercompany accounting, indirect tax reportingPerform group-level reporting in accordance with established proceduresExecute monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities in compliance with IFRS requirements; ensure accuracy and consistency of accounting outputsPrepare balance sheet reconciliations and support the preparation of financial reportsCollaborate closely with Finance Operations teams and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth Record to Report processes, knowledge sharing and operational excellenceIdentify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of efficiency initiativesEscalate issues, risks or inconsistencies in a timely mannerWork closely with Senior Accounting Specialists and Manager to support timely and accurate close and reportingWork with finance systems (e.g. SAP, OneStream, Group reporting system) and related toolsRequired Skills, competences, and experienceEducation in Accounting, Finance or a similar field2–5 years of relevant work experience in financial accounting or a related financial roleBasic understanding of finance processes and technical accounting knowledge (IFRS)Familiarity with accounting and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Group reporting system)Analytical, detail-oriented and learning-oriented mindset; ability to manage numerical data with high accuracyAbility to work under tight deadlines and follow established processes and controlsGood communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders in an international environmentFluency in English (written and spoken)What we offerOpportunity to deepen your insight into global Finance Operations and standardized processes at a senior level.Career path in an international companyOpportunity to develop processes and improve coaching skillsCollaborative and innovative international working environment.Role specific opportunities/things that we offer:modern office in - we apply hybrid model, 50% in the office5 weeks of vacation per yearlunch cards 160 CZKcommuting allowancecafeteriapension insuranceannual bonusHow can you apply for this role?You can only submit your application to us by using our recruitment tool.
