Every day.We are now looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist, Record to Report, to join our team in Ostrava, Czechia.You will contribute to high-quality, standardized accounting execution, working within defined processes and controls, while gaining exposure to end-to-end finance operations in a global environment.This position is ideal for professionals with approximately 5+ years of relevant experience who are ready to take on greater responsibility and provide coaching in accounting, systems, and finance processes.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently execute complex accounting and reporting activities, including general accounting, journal entries, entity closing, fixed and leased asset accounting, intercompany accounting, indirect tax reportingPerform group‑level reportingEnsure accuracy, compliance, and consistency of accounting outputs in line with IFRS accounting standards, and SLAs and KPIsPrepare and review reconciliations, analysis and supporting documentationSupport internal and external auditsCollaborate closely with team members and other Finance Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reportingCoach and support Accounting Specialists in daily work to strengthen capability and deliveryIdentify improvement opportunities and contribute to process standardization and efficiency initiativesWork with finance systems (e.g., SAP, Group reporting system) and related tools and utilize their usage to increase efficiency.Required Skills, competences, and experienceEducation in Accounting, Finance or a similar field5+ years of relevant work experience within financial accounting, including general ledger accounting and financial reportingSolid understanding of end‑to‑end finance processes with strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS)Proficiency in ERP and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Group reporting system)Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlinesProactive problem‑solving mindset with a customer‑focused approachStrong communication skills and ability to guide and support team membersWhat we offerOpportunity to deepen your insight into global Finance Operations and standardized processes at a senior level.Career path in an international companyOpportunity to develop processes and improve coaching skillsCollaborative and innovative international working environment.Role specific opportunities/things that we offer:modern office in - we apply hybrid model, 50% in the office5 weeks of vacation per yearlunch cards 160 CZKcommuting allowancecafeteriapension insuranceannual bonusHow can you apply for this role?You can only submit your application to us by using our recruitment tool.
