The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAMAs a Senior Specialist Sourcing, you will support the Manufacturing Procurement Team.Reporting to the Senior Manager Manufacturing Procurement you will be a part of the Business Unit Airports responsible for create and implement sourcing plans and strategies for a designated Business Unit /Support Function or Region.This position requires worldwide travel of approximately 10-20% of the time.As a Senior Specialist Sourcing you will develop and maintain supplier and internal stakeholder relationships for designated Business Unit /Support Function or Region and relevant suppliers, and make specific contributions towards cost saving and effectiveness targets.WHAT YOU WILL DO:- Work with the relevant Business Unit or Support Function teams to gain high quality market intelligence of their overall business needs and supply base;- Provide direction and advice for internal customers;- Create and implement sourcing strategies for specified purchasing needs which support business requirements goals and strategies;- Recognize and adapt strategy to changing business direction and needs;- Select suppliers and negotiate commercial terms of contracts;- Proactively identify threats and opportunities against current and future market dynamics to increase value optimize business performance and minimize risk exposure;- Proactively identify implement and project manage cost reduction risk and service quality improvement;- Ensure records and justifications of negotiated savings are maintained;- Meet or exceed individual annual financial savings targets;- Ensure appropriate internal business processes are complied with for all supply agreements within Business Unit or Support Function responsibility;- Ensure compliance with the Purchasing Policy including supplier selection and contract approvals and purchasing processes that relate to the procurement system;- Provide performance measurements against any defined service levels soliciting feedback regarding performance from the business.
QualificationsWHO YOU ARE:-3+ years experience in a purchasing role;- 3 years experience in developing ''strategic/custom procurement'' strategies.'- Qualification in Commercial/Financial sciences, Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience;- Membership of a recognized purchasing professional body preferred.- Good comminucations skills (English).NICE-TO-HAVE:-Proficiency in German and Polish- Experience in manufacturing procurementWHAT WE OFFERWe value diversity, operating in 200 countries and spanning 60 languages and cultures.
